Sample trip loaded — start fresh when ready
Voyager opens with a sample 7-day Tokyo trip so you can see how it works. When you're ready to plan your own, scroll up to the Sample trip card and tap Erase everything. You'll get a blank "My next trip" template to fill in.
The one rule
Voyager's data is keyed to this file's location on disk. Don't move or rename voyager.html after you start using it — your trip data would appear to vanish. (It's actually still there at the original location.)
Back up — and sync across your devices
Tap Download backup above to export a JSON file. The same file is your safety net and your sync mechanism: drop it in Dropbox, iCloud, or email it to yourself, then open voyager.html on another device and use Restore from backup to load your full trip there — itinerary, packing, expenses, and receipts. The most recent backup wins.
Install on your phone
iPhone: open this file in Safari → share → "Add to Home Screen."
Android: Chrome → menu → "Add to Home screen." You'll get a tap-to-launch app icon.
Multiple travelers
Add travelers above in Trip details. Each gets their own packing bag, switchable via pills on the Pack tab.
Receipts
In Money → Receipts, tap + Receipt and snap a photo or upload one. Receipts are stored on your device — never uploaded.
